Hello Kitty is an adorable character introduced to the world in 1974 (1976 US) by the Japanese company Sanrio. She was designed by Ikuko Shimizu.The first product released was a vinyl coin purse featuring an image of Hello Kitty sitting between a fish bowl and a bottle of milk with a straw.
She is a simple drawing of a female white cat with a red bow, yellow round nose, oval black eyes, three whiskers on each side of her face, and no mouth. Her first fashion was blue overalls, now her fashions are endless :)
